far have open source programs evolved and how sophisticated have they
become? Can they realistically replace programs costing hundreds of
dollars? Absolutely! At EZ4UGURU we will point you in the direction of
very capable office suites, draw and paint programs, HTML editors,
photo editors, and desktop publishing page editors that won’t
cost you a cent. What this means if you are a “newbie” just
starting out is that you can get the tools to put up websites for FREE!
We
have also included what we consider to be some excellent paid programs
and courses. You are free to evaluate these applications to see how
well they meet your needs and/or budget.
There are three open source programs that we feel "newbies" and
experienced webmasters alike will find especially helpful. They are Kompozer for editing
HTML and building your webpages; GIMP
which is a powerful graphics editor; and CamStudio
if you want to produce instructional videos to promote your site. Each

and then bring you up to speed in utilizing their power for your
particular needs.
